Electrical Designer – Property & Buildings As an Electrical Designer within our Property & Buildings team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building systems that support safe, efficient, and sustainable environments. Working alongside senior designers and engineers, this role offers hands‑on involvement across a wide range of building projects, from concept development through to construction documentation. You will transform design intent into coordinated, high‑quality electrical drawings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit Support senior designers and engineers in developing complete drawing packages Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and life‑safety systems Assist with electrical load calculations and system sizing Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines Support project delivery through accurate documentation and technical coordination Liaise with external consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders Participate in occasional local travel based on project requirements Qualifications Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field 3–5 years of experience in electrical building system design and BIM modelling Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit Understanding of applicable electrical codes and building standards Ability to work independently under general supervision while contributing effectively within a team Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities Benefits Proudly Canadian – we are a Top 100 Employer in Canada for 2026.
