Employment Type: Contract (approx. 6 months) Location: Canada Job Summary The IT NetSuite Project Manager will lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion. The IT NetSuite Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business goals. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). Stakeholder Communication & Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT teams and business stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and roadblocks effectively to leadership and stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and project updates. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans. Proactively manage project challenges and ensure timely resolution. Maintain documentation of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. Coordinate and lead cross‑functional project teams, including developers, engineers, and business analysts. Foster collaboration and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals. Support team development and resolve conflicts as needed. Budget & Resource Management: Track project expenses and ensure cost control measures in place. Optimize resource allocation and manage third‑party vendors when required. Technology & Process Improvement: Ensure project outcomes align with IT and business strategy. Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and project success. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Requirements and Qualifications Education & Experience: NetSuite Experience required Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in IT project management. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus. Technical & Management Skills: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems implementation. Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Asana, etc.). Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
