Job Details Job Title (English): Stress Engineer DTA Job Title (French): Ingénieur structure (DTA) Location: Mirabel, Québec, 3 days per week on site Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable Stress Engineer with damage tolerance analysis and repair engineering experience. This role offers the opportunity for career growth in engineering as well as possibilities for leadership. In today’s climate, the safety of passengers on our aircraft is paramount and at Capgemini you will have the opportunity to work on providing your technical expertise on large commercial aircraft. Key Responsibilities Apply your own specific knowledge of aircraft stress areas for metallic repairs on aircraft structures. Perform damage tolerance analyses for specific repairs in support of the fleet. Prepare and review stress analysis reports. Interact with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions. Provide updates to aircraft manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication and Aircraft Maintenance. Qualifications and Skills Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with at least eight (8) years of experience in stress analysis in the aerospace industry, including at least three (3) years performing damage tolerance analyses on primary aircraft structures. At least three (3) years of experience in aircraft/airframe repair. Good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset). Dynamic, initiative-driven, responsible, and good judgment. Strong knowledge of stress analysis for metallic aircraft structures (hands-on experience with commercial aircraft structures is an asset). Comfortable reviewing aircraft repair drawings (Catia V5 is an asset). MS Office proficiency; Visual Basic coding experience is an asset. Expertise in NASGRO (required); Golihat experience is an asset. Strong written and spoken English communication skills (French is an asset).
