Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor in British Columbia to hire a Senior Estimator – Foundations & Shoring.Our client is a respected, multi-division construction group delivering complex infrastructure projects across Western Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimating professional looking to take ownership of major pursuits and contribute to the success of high-profile civil and deep foundation projects.Responsibilities:Lead estimating efforts across a variety of complex foundations and shoring projectsAct as the primary estimator on proposals from tender request through to submission, with minimal oversightReview drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define scope, risks, and project requirementsDevelop detailed execution strategies and coordinate bid inputs with the pre-construction teamIdentify and communicate commercial and technical risks across safety, environmental, schedule, cost, and quality factorsPrepare clear, competitive, and compliant proposals in line with tender requirementsParticipate in internal bid reviews and contribute to pursuit strategy discussionsCollaborate with project teams during startup to align on budgets, milestones, and execution plansSupport client engagement and maintain strong relationships throughout the estimating processContribute to joint venture and major pursuit submissions (RFQ/RFP stages)Assist with identifying and pricing change orders and project extras during executionFollow up with clients to obtain feedback on submitted bidsRequirements:4+ years of estimating or heavy civil construction experience, ideally in foundations, shoring, or deep excavation worksStrong understanding of pile driving, drilled shafts, caissons, cofferdams, and slope stabilizationExperience managing urban civil construction projects from bid through closeout is an assetExposure to large-scale infrastructure, marine, roadway, or high-density urban projects considered an advantageStrong ability to assess risk and interpret contractual requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HeavyBid, B2W, or similar estimating software is an assetExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentValid driver’s license requiredWhat’s Offered:Competitive base salary ($110,000 – $150,000 depending on experience)Comprehensive benefits package (including health, dental, and RRSP matching where applicable)Strong focus on career development and long-term growth opportunitiesExposure to complex, high-profile civil and foundations projectsSupportive, team-oriented culture with a strong safety-first mindsetIf you are a motivated Foundations & Shoring Estimator looking for your next opportunity in British Columbia, we’d welcome a confidential conversation.Apply directly or contact Skyline Recruitment for more information.#J-18808-Ljbffr
