About the Company CleanTech Vanadium Mining Corp. ("CleanTech") is a highly specialized critical mineral mining company (TSXV: CTV , OTCQB: CTVFF). CleanTech's Fluorspar Projects received over 745 historic drill holes, covering over 17,750 acres and collectively control key segments of the Illinois Kentucky Fluorspar District's most productive fault systems. The Opportunity CleanTech is seeking a high-caliber VP Operations to develop and put into production the Company’s fluorspar projects in Kentucky. This is a remote-based role with a requirement for frequent travel to project sites in Kentucky for site inspections, development and operation. The VP Operations must also be within a day’s driving distance to the Company’s projects in Kentucky and nearby states, or be willing to relocate there. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the VP Operations will bring over 10 years of international mining expertise to oversee the complete lifecycle of the Company’s mining assets. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical background in both surface and underground mining operations, with specialized proficiency in critical/industrial minerals. The VP Operations will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage feasibility studies, steer joint ventures, and guarantee that the asset is built safely, on time, and within budget. Primary Responsibilities Project Development & Construction (Feasibility to Commissioning) Full Lifecycle Management: Hands on experience from greenfield to full operation, permitting, environmental studies, regulatory filings, EPCM, mine and plant construction, hiring and management of employees, consultants and contractors, prepare, manage and track and deliver milestones under budget. Infrastructure & Civil Works: Oversee civil engineering undertakings critical to the mine site, including internal haul roads, sedimentation ponds, explosive magazines, processing facilities, water pumping stations, and flood-control structures. Procurement & Contracts: Direct the preparation of commercially competitive, technically sound bid packages; manage main contractors and subcontractors from initial earthworks up to final delivery. Mine Planning: Supervise the development of optimized mine plans, financial models, and feasibility cycle reports for domestic and international stakeholders. Operational Leadership & Compliance Multidisciplinary Leadership: Manage and mentor diverse, high-performing engineering, geological, permitting and project controls teams. Regulatory & Reporting Standards: Ensure all project reporting strictly aligns with international disclosure and compliance standards, including, if applicable SK-1300 (SEC) , NI 43-101 , JORC , and VALMIN reporting requirements. Safety & Environmental Stewardship: Champion strict adherence to MSHA/global safety regulations (e.g., mine seals, slope stability, and erosion/sedimentation plans) to ensure zero-harm operational targets. Corporate Strategy & Finance Due Diligence & Valuation: Provide authoritative technical and financial due diligence for business valuations, and major corporate acquisitions. Stakeholder Representation: Act as a primary technical voice for the company at international industry conferences, with joint-venture partners, and before international stock exchanges. Position Requirements & Qualifications Education & Professional Credentials Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering (ABET equivalent). Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE / PEng) status in multiple jurisdictions (e.g., US states, Canadian provinces). Certifications: Recognized status as a Competent Person (CP) and Competent Evaluator (CE) across major international stock exchanges. Experience & Background Senior Leadership: Minimum of 10+ years in an executive or principal consulting role (e.g., Director, VP, or CEO level) managing international mining assets. Commodity Expertise: Extensive hands on experience managing complex critical/industrial mineral projects (such as fluorspar). Technical Execution: Proven track record of successfully executing heavy civil works, overburden removal, or complex industrial complex builds (e.g., chemical/petrochemical or processing plants). Technical Skills & Systems Proficiency or strong managerial familiarity with standard mining, geological, and project management software, including: Geological/Mining: Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Surpac, Carlson Software, Surfer.
