Benefits, Leave & Wellbeing Administration Process routine benefit and leave transactions, including enrollments, terminations, life events, and coverage changes across U.S. and Canadian programs. Administer employee leave programs in accordance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local legislation, including job-protected leaves, disability programs (STD/LTD), and parental or family-related leaves where applicable. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, leave, wellbeing, and accommodations, resolving standard issues and escalating complex cases as needed. Support accommodation requests in alignment with company policy and applicable legislation, partnering with internal stakeholders as appropriate. Support the administration of regional benefit programs, including health, welfare, and retirement offerings, ensuring accurate eligibility and coverage management. Administer wellbeing programs and resources, including mental health, wellness, and employee assistance offerings. Maintain accurate and confidential records across HRIS, payroll, and vendor systems. Data, Payroll & System Support Enter, validate, and audit benefit elections, eligibility, and payroll deductions within HRIS and payroll systems. Perform regular quality checks to ensure alignment between employee elections, payroll deductions, and vendor records. Reconcile benefit data with carriers and vendors, identify discrepancies, and support resolution. Support recurring benefit reconciliations and invoice reviews, escalating variances as needed. Prepare and distribute standard eligibility, demographic, and change reports to Payroll and People Services. Compliance & Operational Support Support compliance activities related to U.S. and Canadian benefit and leave regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and applicable Canadian employment standards and benefits legislation. Monitor employee benefit status and classifications, escalating potential compliance risks or discrepancies. Assist with recurring activities such as open enrollment, audits, vendor file reviews, and regulatory reporting. Ensure required plan documents, notices, and employee communications are distributed accurately and on time. Vendor & Team Collaboration Partner with benefit vendors, carriers, and administrators to resolve routine eligibility, enrollment, and leave-related issues, including disability and leave escalations where required. Support senior Total Rewards team members with system testing, file validation, communications, and process updates. Maintain process documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Who are we looking for? . 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, payroll, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience Experience supporting U.S. and or Canadian benefits programs preferred. Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems required. Foundational knowledge of employee benefits and leave administration. Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and confidentiality. Service-oriented communicator able to explain benefit concepts clearly to employees. Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and standardized processes. Comfortable working with HR systems, payroll data, and Excel-based reporting. Compensation The salary for this role consists of a base salary between $60,000 - $80,000 with an annual performance bonus.
