Key responsibilities Own day-to-day digital campaign operations and execution across channels (display, programmatic, social, video, search-support) in collaboration with Subject matter experts (SME’s), with additional responsibility for pixel strategy, measurement hygiene and data governance. Ensure campaigns launch on time, run smoothly, meet quality standards and deliver against client KPIs under guidance from senior ops/strategy leads. Campaign Trafficking & setup: Configure campaigns in ad servers/DSPs/SSPs and social platforms; apply targeting, creatives, tracking pixels and third‑party tags according to specs. Validate creative specs, creative‑size compatibility and URL redirects. Develop and maintain a pixel/event taxonomy that maps site/app events to campaign KPIs and attribution modeling needs. Define standard naming conventions, event parameters, value fields and deduplication rules across platforms. Recommend and implement client‑appropriate measurement approaches: client‑side pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok), server‑to‑server (S2S) or hybrid solutions for reliability and privacy resilience. Align pixel strategy with reporting needs (last‑click, data‑driven attribution, incrementality) and with analytics teams. Coordinate with development teams for hard‑coded or SDK event implementations, and support QA of mobile SDK events. Create and run pixel QA checklists: verify event firing, parameter accuracy, dedupe, conversion priorities and proper conversions attribution. Monitor and resolve tag duplication, missing events, or mismatched parameter values. Monitor delivery, pacing, budgets and inventory; implement optimizations (bids, audiences, creative rotation) guided by performance leads. Use pixel‑derived conversion data to fuel optimizations and audience building (retargeting / lookalike). Produce client/internal performance reports and maintain dashboards that use validated pixel data, surface insights and optimization recommendations. Track data quality KPIs (pixel firing rate, event completion rate) and report issues proactively. Liaise with strategy/account, analytics, Ad Ops and Marketing Science teams to align on timelines, specs and deliverables. Manage routine communication with ad tech vendors, measurement partners and publishers for troubleshooting and implementation support. Documentation & process improvement: Maintain pixel strategy docs, event taxonomies, implementation guides, SOPs and post‑campaign retrospectives; propose process improvements and automation opportunities. Pixels & SDKs: Meta Pixel, Google Ads/GA4, TikTok, LinkedIn, custom S2S implementations Ad tech: DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ad Manager, social ad managers Qualifications 2–3 years in ad ops/digital campaign operations at an agency or in‑house media role, with direct pixel/tagging experience. Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills. Practical experience with GTM/data Layer and event taxonomy design. Good communicator; able to translate technical measurement issues for non‑technical stakeholders. KPIs / success metrics (measurement‑focused) Pixel/event firing accuracy (target 98%+) Event completeness rate (conversion events captured vs expected) On‑time launch rate (95%+) Budget pacing accuracy (within agreed tolerances) Mean time to resolve measurement/tagging issues Pixel strategy & event taxonomy document mapping events to KPIs Pixel QA checklists and troubleshooting runbooks Daily/weekly performance dashboards using validated conversion data Post‑campaign measurement audit and recommendations Independently execute medium‑complexity campaigns and own pixel implementations for small to mid‑size clients. Advice on measurement resilience (server‑side, clean rooms) and privacy‑safe data strategies as part of career progression. Develop automation and technical reporting skills (SQL, server‑side tagging) to advance to senior ops or measurement roles.
