Responsibilities Understands clients’ businesses and marketing strategies to ensure that all campaigns, programs and projects are aligned with business goals. Builds strong relationships with clients by acting as a strategic advisor. Represents the client’s best interests. Assembles and shares strategic insights with clients. Develops proposals and scopes of work in conjunction with agency team members. Promptly addresses any client issues with the clients and agency team members. Proactively manages account financials, ensuring overall account health, appropriate team allocation and agency compensation. Develops strategic campaigns and programs that produce results. Provides leadership and insights during strategy, ideation and campaign execution. Meets with internal teams on a regular basis to review campaign progress. Meets with the Account Director and clients on a regular basis to review campaign performance. Seeks opportunities to expand programs, campaigns and client business. Reviews and analyzes past campaign results to uncover opportunities for improvement and growth. Reviews and synthesis of data intelligence for use in briefs, reports, or presentations. Assess competitive and target audience research to identify points of differentiation. Participates in research to develop well-informed and effective strategic plans. Remains on top of industry trends, innovations and challenges. Develops creative briefs that inspire team members to create exceptional work. Facilitates internal kick-off meetings. Attends weekly client status meetings. Initiates invoicing and reconciliation of budgets. Regularly informs Account Director and Director of Account Management of account wins, losses, successes and failures. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in account planning and client management in marketing, advertising and/or communications. Experience in campaign strategy and planning. Experience in Experiential and event management. Proven problem solver, conflict resolver and strategic thinker. Demonstrated ability to act in a leadership role and build trusted relationships with senior‑level clients. Poise and professionalism under pressure. Brand marketing experience. Prior agency experience. Solid presentation and communication skills. Ability to travel 15 -25% based on client location.
