Position: Junior / Intermediate / Senior Piping Designer Location: Lloydminster, Alberta Education: Technologist Diploma Experience: Junior / Intermediate / Senior Duties/Responsibilities We are currently seeking a piping designer experienced with creating mechanical, electrical, and structural drawing packages in the oil and gas industry, specifically with AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD 2D platforms. Design/drafting in an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) office. Work as part of a multi-discipline team to provide design and detail of various mechanical and structural drawing packages. Communicate and interface regularly with client’s engineering, maintenance, and construction personnel, as well as vendors and contractors. Willingness to travel to client offices and field facilities as required. Qualifications Licensed professional in good standing, and/or eligible for licensure, with ASET and SASTT. Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks. A working knowledge of relevant industry piping design codes and standards. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate and coordinate with multi-disciplined team members and external clients. Proficient with MS Office applications, and MS Teams. Ability to perform effectively as an individual or in a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
