Role Senior Tax Manager – Canadian Tax Group, based in Vancouver or Langley (hybrid after probation). Work directly with clients and Partners to provide tax planning and compliance services to a diverse client base. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for corporations, partnerships, trusts and individuals. Assist with tax advisory and planning engagements, including drafting written memorandums and instruction letters. Identify opportunities to provide tax planning and other special services. Effectively adapt and prioritize tasks to meet evolving client service requirements. Advise clients by delivering high quality tax service and advice. Identify and research technical tax issues. Remain up to date on new tax legislation and case law. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to staff. Qualifications Minimum 1 year as a Senior Tax Manager (Public Practice). Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program. Strong analytical skills and ability to research tax issues and formulate innovative solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with inbound and outbound cross-border tax compliance (foreign reporting T106, T1134, T1135, foreign accrual property income, surplus pools) – nice to have. General understanding of Canada‑US Tax Treaty. Strong interpersonal skills and client service orientation. Clear professional communication skills. Willingness to collaborate and support audiences with varied technical expertise. Self‑motivated team player able to take initiative. Additional Requirements Be present in‑person at Vancouver or Langley office; after probation, may work hybrid (2 days office, 3 days home). Work additional hours as necessary. Occasional in‑town travel to visit clients or attend meetings.
