Investment Analyst – TELUS HealthThe Investment Consulting practice at TELUS Health utilizes over 30 years of experience to deliver exceptional pension plan and endowment consulting services. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the investment management functions for pension funds, endowments, foundations and other institutional funds. Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in investment research, assist with investment manager searches, ongoing monitoring, documentation, and maintenance of internal databases. Prepare investment performance reports for clients under the direction of senior team members. Gather qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and data providers. Calculate investment performance statistics, create and modify charts and tables. Draft investment manager performance commentary and client communications. Analyze portfolio characteristics, performance drivers, manager investment style, and adherence to mandates on a quarterly basis. Collect and verify data required for quarterly performance reporting and support timely client communication. Propose solutions to improve timeliness, effectiveness, quality and practicality in addressing client needs. Provide research and technical support for ongoing development of the internal database of investment managers. Draft ad hoc reports and memos for internal and external clients. Ensure quality control and service standards are followed for all projects. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, investment managers and partners through telephone contact and office visits. Attend internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends. Core Competencies & QualificationsExcellent mathematical and technical skills. Strong work ethic and ability to work under tight deadlines. Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and various investment Excel‑based tools. Passion for investments and an analytical mindset. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or economics (or related courses). Completion of CFA Level1 exam is a plus. If you are near one of our locations, you may have the option to work hybrid. Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $60,000 – $75,000. Total compensation will be based on knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
