This field‑based, hybrid role covers the entire province of Ontario and reports to the MSL Manager, Pipeline Solid Tumors.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain peer‑to‑peer scientific relationships with oncology specialists and other healthcare professionals; communicate balanced, evidence‑based information to support clinical decision makingAct as the field‑based scientific expert for your territory, staying current on solid tumour biology, treatment approaches and the evolving scientific landscapeGather and report clinical and practice insights from the field to inform pipeline medical strategy, evidence generation and local operational plansSupport clinical development by identifying and qualifying potential investigators and clinical‑trial sites across CanadaRepresent GSK at scientific meetings and congresses, supporting expert engagement, session coverage and knowledge sharingDeliver scientific training to internal colleagues using approved materials and contribute to cross‑functional projects as requiredBasic QualificationsAdvanced post‑graduate scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD)Proven ability to explain and present complex scientific data clearly to clinical audiencesStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross‑functionallyKnowledge of the Canadian healthcare environment, including hospital systems and access pathwaysValid Canadian driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory (up to 60–70%)Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet objectives in a field‑based rolePosition qualifies for a company‑leased vehicle; eligibility requires satisfactory driver verification and abstract review under GSK’s safe driver programPreferred Qualifications2+ years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar medical affairs role, ideally in oncology or solid tumoursEstablished network and relationships with oncology clinicians in CanadaExperience supporting clinical trials, investigator‑initiated studies, or real‑world evidence projectsFamiliarity with Canadian reimbursement and access processesBilingual capability in English and French for bilingual territoriesStrong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skillsSalary and Benefits In compliance with Ontario's provincial pay transparency legislation, the annual compensation for this role is CAD 129,000 to CAD 179,000, determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
