You will lead a small team of two Global Payroll Processors, driving efficiencies and ensuring seamless communication across all payroll functions.What our client has to offer:Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000Comprehensive benefits package through Sun Life.RSP plan with matching contributions.Four weeks of vacation.A hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)Opportunity to implement strategic process improvements and own the global payroll function.Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end global payroll processes for 600 employees in 11 countries, ensuring accuracy and preventing discrepancies.Proactively identify and implement efficiencies within the payroll department, optimizing structure and workflows.Manage and prioritize JIRA tickets for internal communication and task management.Support semi‑monthly payrolls and ensure all global payrolls are successfully signed off.Own communication regarding payroll to employees, ensuring clarity, security, and follow‑up to confirm understanding.Partner effectively with the finance team, especially during month‑end and year‑end close processes.Address year‑end requirements for various countries with proactive outreach.Qualifications:Proven experience overseeing end‑to‑end global payroll, with exposure to various international regions (e.g., Europe and Asia).Demonstrated management experience, with a focus on strategic oversight rather than primarily processing payroll.Strong, proactive communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to diverse regional nuances.A track record of process improvement and a proactive approach to finding efficiencies.Ability to work fast and methodically, adapting to frequent change in a dynamic environment.Proficiency with Dayforce or similar global payroll solutions.Familiarity with JIRA for internal communication and task management.Understanding of global payroll practices and strategic payroll work, including accruals.To be eligible for this role, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.#J-18808-Ljbffr
