Responsibility Summary The VP Global Supply Chain is a business leader responsible for building a smart, global, customer-focused supply chain that drives performance and efficiency. They will define and execute a CPS global supply strategy that is aligned with business growth, market demand, and customer expectations. This role connects market demand, customer needs, and global supply capabilities to deliver speed, competitiveness, and reliable execution—directly impacting growth, margin, and customer satisfaction. To secure global sourcing agility and capacity availability while mitigating risk and resilience will be essential. Other key areas will be to improve margin contribution and total cost competitiveness. What you will do? In this role you will build and lead the CPS Supply Chain organization globally and ensure that it is aligned with company growth targets, operational performance and customer delivery expectations. It will be important to develop materials management, procurement, category management, logistics, and supplier quality, and act as the link between demand and supply markets to ensure alignment between commercial needs and supply capabilities. You will build and scale a supplier activation engine to rapidly access global capacity and expand the supply base, while ensuring quality requirements are met. Another task will be to lead our essential transformation toward simplification, including continuous improvement, digital enablement and global alignment. Finally, driving global sourcing agility, optimizing cost, speed, capacity and risk, while overseeing inventory and warehousing strategies, securing delivery capacity toward our customers will be highly important. Qualifications Minimum requirements: a BSc in supply chain management, business or engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred, and an MBA or equivalent is meritorious. English is essential at a professional level—oral and written—for this global role. A well‑documented, proven track record within supply chain, operations, commercial, or general management over 10 years or more, from a global matrix organizational environment, is assumed. Equally, you hold solid leadership and IT experience, preferably supply chain systems, together with a well‑documented background of strategic sourcing, supplier management and logistics. Ideally, you have experience sourcing in/from low‑cost countries, with proven ability to drive business performance results. Your proven track record of achieving year‑over‑year cost savings in a global business environment, knowledge related to international trade, import duties and legal concerns, will be required, together with strong business acumen. Finally, you will need to operate effectively in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments. International travel up to 50% of your time, or relocation, depending on your present situation, will be required.
