We invite you to join the Retail Media Platform team as a Data Engineer, building a best‑in‑class Ad tech solution that supports internal and external advertising users. Responsibilities Work with the Data Engineer Manager and senior engineers to develop solutions for various data consumers. Automate reporting pipelines and build real‑time streaming dashboards. Build and implement robust data models and semantic layers. Develop pipelines using Java, Scala, Python, DataProc, DBT, Airflow, and other Google Cloud Platform technologies. Design testing and data validation strategies to ensure reporting integrity. Optimize data queries across the pipeline. Support reporting and analytics needs from all business areas, including developers, product managers, designers, merchandisers, marketers, and operations analysts. Contribute to a hypothesis‑driven product development culture where data guides decision‑making. Requirements BA/BS in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. More than 2 years of experience as a data engineer. Hands‑on experience with non‑relational databases such as Bigtable and Druid, and with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics. Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform analytical work. Experience in data processing using Python, Scala, or Java. Working experience with Git. Exposure to cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure). Understanding of data warehouse concepts. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proven team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience working in an agile environment. Experience in advertising is a plus.
