Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor in British Columbia to hire a Senior Estimator.Our client is a respected, multi-division construction group delivering large, complex infrastructure projects across BC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimating professional looking to lead major pursuits and play a key role in strategic project delivery.Responsibilities: Lead the estimating function on large, complex civil construction projectsAnalyze RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs to assess project requirements and risksManage proposal work plans to develop competitive and compliant bidsSupport business development and pursuit strategy initiativesCoordinate with owners, designers, JV/alliance partners, and internal teamsReview alternative technical solutions, value engineering options, and project schedules to optimize proposalsAttend and lead pursuit meetings, client meetings, and pre-bid conferencesConduct estimate risk analyses and present execution strategies during bid reviewsAct as Estimate Lead on joint venture pursuitsAssist with contract negotiations through detailed cost breakdownsOversee the transition and handover of successful estimates to project management teamsPrepare cost reports, expenditure statements, and forecastsRequirements: Minimum 7+ years of estimating and cost control experience in heavy civil constructionStrong understanding of contractual agreements and risk assessmentExperience bidding unit price, design-build, or PPP projects considered an assetSolid knowledge of utility civil works, earthworks, and surface roadworks on large-scale projectsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management preferredProficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, InEight, HCSS, or B2W strongly desiredCreative, solutions-focused mindset with strong leadership capabilitiesWhat’s Offered: Competitive base salary ($130K–$170K depending on experience)Long-term career growth opportunitiesLeadership role on high-profile civil infrastructure projectsIf you are a motivated Civil Project Manager looking for your next opportunity in BC, we’d welcome a confidential conversation.Apply directly or contact Skyline Recruitment for more information.#J-18808-Ljbffr
