Our client in the utilities and electrical manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a 15-month contract . This role follows a hybrid working arrangement requiring three days onsite and two working remotely each week at their Mississauga office. Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, bridge analyses, and executive-level financial commentary for senior leadership. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across revenue, gross margin, and SG&A expenses. Analyze customer-level revenue, pricing, profitability, and overall business performance to support strategic decision‑making. Deliver insights into financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key business drivers and risks. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility, reporting accuracy, and forecasting processes. Assist in developing dashboards, KPIs, and management reports to support operational and financial performance monitoring. Qualifications CPA or in the program 3+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience Advanced Excel skills with experience using planning tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights SAP, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, manufacturing/distribution experience, or ERP implementation exposure.
