What you will do: Assist project managers and engineering leads in developing project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-functional activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and suppliers. Track progress against timelines and escalate delays or risks. Support planning for prototype builds, validation testing, and engineering change implementation. Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, action logs, risk registers, and project dashboards. Prepare weekly status reports, KPIs, and presentations for leadership reviews. Ensure engineering documentation (BOMs, drawings, change notices) is properly controlled and updated. Serve as a central communication point between internal teams and external suppliers. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, technical reviews, and design gateways. Follow up on action items to ensure timely closure. Support adherence to automotive standards such as APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, and change management processes. Assist with tracking validation test results, issue logs, and corrective actions. Help ensure compliance with internal engineering processes and customer requirements. Coordinate procurement of prototype parts, tooling, and test equipment. Track delivery schedules and resolve supply or logistics issues. Support planning for lab testing, vehicle builds, and field evaluations. What you will bring: Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment (automotive preferred). Understanding of product development cycles, engineering documentation, and change control. Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.). Strong Excel and data tracking skills; ability to create dashboards and reports. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other automotive quality processes is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive problem‑solving and follow‑through. Diploma or degree in business, project management, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
