Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge - Gift Shop Sales Associate We are a seasonal property located in Jasper, Alberta, within the Canadian Rockies. Positions start on May 6, 2026 and run through October 2026. We are seeking a highly motivated, customer‑oriented individual to join our team as a seasonal Gift Shop Sales Associate. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with purchases, and maintain the appearance of the gift shop. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers and visitors to the gift shop. Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Provide information about products and services. Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments, including returns of merchandise. Stock and display merchandise under the direction of the manager. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Cross‑sell and cross‑promote hotel and restaurant products and services. Requirements Strong customer service skills. Experience in retail sales is an asset. Hands‑on experience with POS transactions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. Compensation & Benefits Wage: $17 per hour plus commissions (2%–5%). Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day. If the contract is completed, a bonus will cover the cost of your rent. Referral bonus: $500 if both your and your referral’s contracts are completed.
