Join us The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of customer and/or internal projects. This includes understanding of the project scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements. The Project Manager will lead a project team, monitor and control progress and budget; will lead the assessment and management of project risks to meet customer satisfaction and project profitability. Finally, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with customers as well as the execution performance and commercial success of the project while working in a team-oriented environment. What You Bring To The Table Assigns work across functions in the company and manages the project/order schedule. Plans and coordinates technical design and engineering implementation of project work. Identifies the information needs of each work group and assures they are met. Responsible for following established project execution standards and assures contractual obligations are met. Serves as the primary customer order contact on assigned projects or accounts. Conducts internal & external kick-off meetings to ensure customer expectations are understood throughout the project cycle. Maintains understanding of general business practices. Understands the critical issues, intervenes and proposes corrective measures and innovative solutions. Conduct risk analysis and establishes turnaround times, financial conditions, needs and effective allocation of staff. Implements the work plan, follows up and controls for each phase of the project. Manages suppliers and subcontractors. Prepares project reports for clients, management and other stakeholders. Maintains a high level of engagement of the assigned project execution team. Works with other project managers and operations team to ensure adequate staffing of all ongoing projects. Initiates project closeout to evaluate project success & customer loyalty. Essential Skills And Qualifications To Be Successful Bachelor's degree in Engineering or College degree in electrical engineering/automation. Minimum of 5 years' experience in process control. Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of DeltaV automation systems & process control industry considered an asset. Good listening and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and with sometimes conflicting priorities. Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity to find solutions, and to achieve the expected results. Mastery of value-added activities that ensure an exceptional customer experience. Leadership that leads to an effective team synergy that works towards a common goal. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English. Customer focus. High ethical standards. Conflict management. PC proficiency; familiar with MS Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel (as well as other intranet applications).
