Typical Day in Role Administer and maintain the ServiceNow® CMDB and Discovery modules. Oversee data quality for hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate lifecycle, ownership, and relationship information. Conduct configuration audits and work with Technical Service Owners to remediate discrepancies and improve processes. Build and maintain CI relationships by collaborating with SMEs and Service Owners. Support the creation and maintenance of Configuration Management Plans. Work with Change Management to identify CI impacts resulting from planned changes. Lead or assist with CMDB data analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Skills Servicenow, Cmdb, Configuration management, Itsm Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice-to-Have Skills - Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, or Power BI for data analysis and automation. Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery or Service Mapping. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and vendors. Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
