Direct message the job poster from Apex Systems Senior Professional Technical Recruiter at Apex Systems Data Reporting Analyst Duration: 18 month contract (Possible extension/conversion to perm) Location: Downtown, Toronto Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented team member to join our Procurement Analytics team, responsible for supporting day-to-day data operations and request management. This role will operate routine data workflows, including Excel-based tasks and running automated Python scripts to curate and refresh datasets, monitor and respond to a shared team inbox, action incoming requests such as dashboard setup or data refreshes, and perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will execute tasks within defined schedules, troubleshoot data issues, and support broader team initiatives such as documentation, process manual creation, and ad-hoc analysis. This role also includes the opportunity to support and collaborate with our data governance team, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to promote and implement effective data management practices. Additional responsibilities include supporting meeting minutes, and assisting in the creation of presentation slides and training materials to aid in communication and knowledge sharing across the team. Overtime is not required for this role. Must Haves: 3-5 years of experience with SQL, Python, GIT (version control), and the ability to perform guided queries is essential, along with a willingness to learn and support various facets of our data analytics function.
