Our client in Edmonton is looking for an Architect to design business and technology solutions, mainly for the North American Commercial Services unit and other teams, while overseeing solution architecture for selected cross‑unit projects. This is a 12‑month contract with the possibility of extension, offered as a hybrid role based in Edmonton. Responsibilities Lead business architecture planning to support goals in a cost‑effective way Gather information on governance, processes, and data needs for current and future requirements Ensure architecture standards are followed and improved; guide solution design for key projects Research and apply relevant technology trends that support long‑term goals Identify technology risks and opportunities and create plans to improve performance Provide input for budgeting, system planning, and regulatory needs Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes Qualifications 5+ years of experience in business architecture and IT project management Solid understanding of SDLC, including custom builds, COTS, and SaaS (mandatory) Familiar with emerging technologies and able to do relevant business research Strong leadership and collaboration skills Clear communication between business and technical teams Ability to develop and recommend effective technical solutions Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and support for filings #J-18808-Ljbffr
