The company designs and manufactures next‑generation aircraft engines that power the world’s largest fleet of business, general aviation, and regional aircraft and helicopters. ResponsibilitiesYou report to the Technical Supervisor and will perform varied and complex tasks in the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical engines, providing technical and operational support to line assemblers and customers. You will also adapt new procedures, tools, materials, and equipment to meet required specifications. Day‑to‑day TasksPlan, write, and develop assembly instructions using eCATES. Define the assembly process, tooling, and test equipment necessary to assemble modules and engines in compliance with PWC quality and engineering standards. Interpret complex drawings, documents, and engineering specifications. Maintain close relationships with engineering for test instruction creation. Support production through improvement of assembly procedures and readiness for production. Support production in maintenance and improvement of test instructions. Serve as the first point of contact for creating temporary assemblies and test procedures during investigations. Lead or participate in a quality clinic to ensure the maintenance of key performance indicators. QualificationsEligible to work in Canada. Enrolled in a Canadian university for the full duration of the internship. Able to work on‑site in the province where hired. Pursuing studies in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Working knowledge of English for reading and understanding specialized instructions, plans, and drawings. Preferred SkillsExperience with Catia or other CAD software. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
