About the Role PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, seeks a Wet Process Operator to perform chemical processing steps used in printed circuit board production, ensuring all materials meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will operate wet process equipment, follow documented procedures, and maintain a safe, efficient workflow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position supports afternoon shift operations (12:00 pm to 8:30 pm). A $0.75 per hour shift differential is offered for second‑shift hours. Responsibilities Proper handling and operation of all Chemcut lines used to clean, develop, etch, and strip panels. Operating, maintaining, inspecting, replenishing, and disposing of department equipment such as Chem Clean, Developer, Etcher, and Film Stripper tanks. Performing routine equipment inspections and audits (start‑up, in‑process, and end‑of‑shift) to confirm safe operation, proper guarding/interlocks, acceptable solution levels, and overall line condition. Entering all jobs, movements, and required process data into the manufacturing tracking system (CIMNET), ensuring traceability (e.g., lot numbers, counts, timestamps, hold/rework status as needed). Reading and interpreting job travelers to verify that all previous operations were completed. Verifying quantity, workmanship, and product quality produced by the wet process/Chemcut lines using defined acceptance criteria (e.g., etch quality, resist/film strip completeness, surface condition) and performing in‑process checks at required intervals. Receiving routine production instructions and prioritizing work to maintain optimal wet process line conditions, throughput, and on‑time completion while minimizing scrap and rework. Maintaining a safe, neat, and organized work area, including chemical storage areas, spill kits, tools, and documentation stations; responding appropriately to spills and near‑misses per site policy. Reporting quality problems or defects to the manager or senior management to initiate corrective action and avoid recurrence. Performing duties that may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree. 1+ years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry or a similar manufacturing industry required. Ability to understand process travelers, customer specifications, and tolerances specified on travelers or drawings. Must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to cross‑train. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance. Experience with chemical etching, plating, or other wet‑processing operations a plus. Experience with measuring tools (optical microscope, calipers, pin gauge, microscope reticle, digital multimeter) and test tools (high‑voltage power supply, multimeters). Basic computer skills for data entry, reviewing travelers, and completing documentation required. Must be able to work with, and properly handle, lab chemicals as per company procedures. Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Flexibility regarding working hours, including overtime and weekends required. Compensation Pay may range from $18.50 to $18.50 hourly.
