Leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering, they ensure the proper functioning of equipment, contribute to continuous process improvement, and act as the technical point of contact on the shop floor. They work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to guarantee performance, safety, and reliability of installations. Main Responsibilities Technical and Operational Support Be present on the shop floor to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in real time. Monitor critical equipment and recommend preventive or corrective actions. Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and execute technical interventions. Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Participate in root cause analysis of failures and propose sustainable solutions. Design and implement mechanical modifications to improve productivity and safety. Project Management Lead engineering projects related to equipment installation or modernization. Coordinate suppliers and subcontractors during technical projects. Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Documentation and Compliance Keep technical documentation of equipment up to date. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Participate in internal and external audits related to mechanical equipment. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership. Knowledge of Lean tools, Six Sigma, and quality systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
