The Reservations Supervisor role is integral in crafting a positive guest experience. They serve as the initial point of contact, ensuring that each reservation is made with meticulous attention, care, and intention. This meticulous process prepares the hotel operations team to welcome guests and provide an exceptional experience. The role offers an understanding of all operations and supports potential advancement internally and externally within the Tourism/Hospitality industry. Compensation: $23.68 per hour Physical Requirement: Light; work activities involve handling loads up to 10 kg; predominantly in an indoor setting. This job position requires physical presence at the designated location. A minimum of two years of experience in the Reservations or Front Office department is essential. Devoted to working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment with a strong focus on enhancing the guest experience. Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Opera. Exhibits a professional demeanor, a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service, and the ability to anticipate guest needs. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with outstanding problem‑solving capabilities. Primary Responsibilities Assist in managing day‑to‑day reservations department operations. Handles reservation calls on a regular basis. Consistently upholds approved Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) for phone etiquette and call quality standards in all guest interactions, serving as a role model for the team. Serves as the Reservations Group and Tour champion. Oversees, trains, and monitors all reservations activities, ensuring compliance with Director of Reservations (DOR)-approved Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) processes and standards. Implements new SOGs with Reservations Agents and Guest Service Agents as required.
