This new opportunity will allow you to develop and implement innovative closure plans for contaminated sites, act as a technical lead, and mentor junior staff. Your Impact Developing plans to progress Upstream Oil and Gas sites to closure or developing risk management plans Reviewing reports prepared by others Engaging with stakeholders, including regulators Fostering the development of new and emerging innovations to remain the trusted leader in site closure Mentoring junior staff in conducting environmental site assessment, remediation, and closure activities The Skills That Set You Apart Post‑secondary Degree in Environmental Sciences or related A minimum of twenty years experience in environmental consulting, specializing in Upstream Oil and Gas Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety conscious attitude Strong interpersonal communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative team Professional registration Subsoil Salinity Tool Certification Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $132,700 – $175,800 MB & ON: $121,100 – $166,700 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $119,900 – $159,200 Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
