General Manager - Motor Gear Trader (Trading & Sales) Motor Gear Trader is building a modern marketplace and trading platform for the motor gear ecosystem.This is a remote position.The General Manager (GM) owns the end-to-end business: launch readiness, revenue, operations, product execution, and investor outcomes.This is a builder/operator role—someone who can take MGT from beta → launch → scale, while recruiting and leading a high-performing team and ensuring the platform and go-to-market motion match real customer demand.This role reports into Estoras Group leadership and operates in alignment with Estoras’ operating standards (performance, accountability, and disciplined execution).Within the first 6–12 months, the GM will:Launch a stable, market-ready platform (post-beta) with clear adoption and retention signalsEstablish repeatable acquisition channels (buyers/sellers/dealers/partners—depending on MGT’s model)Build a lean, high-output team (contractor-first where possible) with clear scorecards and accountabilityImplement operational cadence: weekly KPIs, monthly reporting, forecast disciplineCreate investor-ready reporting and a credible scaling plan (fundraising optional depending on strategy)Core Responsibilities 1) Strategic Leadership & GrowthOwn and execute the company operating plan: positioning, pricing, GTM, partnerships, and growth targetsTranslate Estoras Group objectives into measurable quarterly priorities (OKRs / EOS-style rocks)Drive launch readiness (product + operations + marketing + support)Build the roadmap toward scale (and if applicable future capital events)2) Platform & Product Execution (Beta → Launch → Scale)Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the MGT platform (beta improvements, launch version, iteration cycles)Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer feedback and marketplace liquidity dynamicsEstablish lightweight but effective product delivery systems:Roadmap managementSprint cadenceQA/release processUptime/support workflowsPartner with technical leads/vendors to deliver outcomes on time and within constraints3) Operational Management & PerformanceRun day-to-day operations with a focus on speed, quality, and profitabilityBuild and maintain core operating infrastructure:KPI dashboards and weekly reportingBudgeting, forecasting, and cost controlsVendor management and contract oversightRisk management and compliance awareness (as relevant to trading/marketplace operations)Own P&L accountability (or build toward it as revenue ramps)4) Team Leadership & Talent DevelopmentRecruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing team across:Product / engineering (internal or vendor-managed)Sales / partnershipsCustomer success / supportOps / admin (as needed)Make key personnel decisions (hiring, compensation, performance management) aligned with Estoras Group policiesBuild a performance culture: clear expectations, scorecards, feedback loops, and accountability5) Customer, Partner, and Stakeholder RelationshipsBuild strong relationships with customers and key supply-side stakeholders (dealers, distributors, partners, etc.)Own customer satisfaction, retention, and escalation managementDevelop strategic partnerships that accelerate liquidity and trust in the platformManage investor communications (where applicable): updates, transparency, metrics, and narrative6) Project & Change ManagementDeliver cross-functional initiatives on time, within budget, and to specMaintain clear documentation:Project plans and milestonesStatus reports and risk logsChange requests and decision recordsResolve conflicts quickly and professionally—internally and externallyRequirements (Must-Have)Proven GM/Operator experience in a startup, marketplace, platform, or high-growth environmentStrong execution track record across operations, product delivery, and revenue growthDemonstrated ability to lead teams and vendors with clear accountabilityStrong business fundamentals: budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, cost controlExcellent communication skills with customers, partners, and senior stakeholdersComfort operating in ambiguity; bias toward action and measurable outcomesPreferred / Strong AssetsFundraising experience (seed/Series A or strategic capital) and investor communicationsExperience with trading platforms, marketplaces, or multi-sided networks (liquidity, trust, supply/demand dynamics)Familiarity with compliance, risk, and governance expectations in regulated or high-trust industriesExperience building contractor-heavy teams and performance-based compensation structuresRequirements (Skills & Competencies)Online Platform Proficiency: ability to manage and scale digital platforms with measurable outcomesMarketplace/Trading Fluency: understands platform mechanics, user flows, and transaction trust systemsStartup Acumen: adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable building from scratchTechnical Fluency: can work effectively with engineers and modern tools;
