Position Technical Product Owner at Swapcard. Responsibilities Lead a squad of engineers and own the product area end to end, from roadmap strategy to shipped features. Talk to clients, end‑users, internal sales and success teams, and use usage data to translate learning into a clear, prioritized backlog. Write user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from, and make hard decisions on what to build next. Balance new capabilities, technical debt, and bug fixes based on real customer impact. Be deeply involved in technical aspects, discussing architecture trade‑offs with developers and working with designers to ensure feasibility and user value. Required Qualifications 4+ years of product ownership (or a similar product role) in a software development environment, having shipped features, managed trade‑offs, and worked closely with engineering teams. A technical foundation, whether through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or through hands‑on experience, enabling you to hold your own in technical discussions. Strong analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven decisions on feature feasibility, prioritization, and success measurement. Excellent prioritization instincts and ability to sequence work across new features, technical debt, and bugs to maximize customer value. Ideal Fit Curious and proactive, digging into technical systems and asking “why” often. Collaborative, working naturally with engineers on architecture, designers on feasibility, and stakeholders on strategy, avoiding silos. Empathetic leader who cares about team members as much as the product. Clear communication in English, Swapcard’s working language. Bonus Points Experience building AI‑powered features, payment systems, analytics dashboards, or website/page builders. Familiarity with the events industry or marketplace platforms.
