Responsibilities Lead and execute client engagements under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors. Contribute to new business development by leveraging your credibility and understanding of all Doane Grant Thornton services. Act as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan. Maximize engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources. Analyze and review corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs and compilations. Plan and lead teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded. Supervise and mentor an accounting team, including the review of files. Lead the coaching and performance management process of the practice, providing ongoing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and delivering training. Qualifications CPA designation is a strong asset. 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a related industry, strongly focused on tax and accounting. Commitment to quality, excellence and continual professional growth for yourself and for those you manage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills to earn the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising and multi‑team managing.
