Written and spoken bilingualism in French and English is considered a significant assetWhat the job involvesWe are seeking a Senior Planner to join our Minerals & Metals DepartmentThe successful candidate will report to the Planning & Scheduling DepartmentThe person in this position will work closely with all disciplines and project Managers to manage all planning & Scheduling subjectsLead the development of the overall project planning and scheduling strategy, including schedule structure, logic, phasing, milestones, and integration across disciplinesEnsure full schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activitiesEnsure alignment between schedule, cost, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management (EVM) systemsSupport the preparation and validation of executive level dashboards, client reports, and progress narrativesProvide clear, actionable insights to Project Directors, senior management, and clients regarding schedule risks and opportunitiesEvaluate the schedule impacts of scope changes, variations, and claims, including time impact and delay analyses / support claim avoidance and dispute resolution by providing robust schedule logic, documentation, and analysisProvide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate planners/ contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tools, templates, lessons learned, and best practices#J-18808-Ljbffr
