Overview As a Operations Supervisor (Repair and Overhaul) here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing daily repair and overhaul activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of operations. This role leads a team of technicians, manages workflow, monitors turnaround times (TAT), backlog, and past‑due units, and ensures all repairs meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. The supervisor drives performance through coaching, communication, and continuous improvement. You will report directly to our ISC Operations Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our production operations (shared services). By leading and motivating your team, you will ensure that production targets are achieved, and high-quality products are delivered to our internal and external customers. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Execution: Oversee day‑to‑day repair and overhaul operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer commitments. Prioritize and schedule work orders, ensuring efficient flow across the R&O process. Monitor WIP, burn down backlog, and reduce past‑due units through effective planning and coordination. Ensure units meet or exceed TAT expectations. Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve constraints or delays. Leadership & People Management Lead and support technicians by providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback. Conduct daily Tier meetings to communicate priorities and status updates. Ensure training compliance, technical capability development, and cross‑training opportunities. Foster a positive, accountable, and high‑engagement team culture. Quality & Compliance Ensure all work adheres to FAA, EASA, AS9100, and customer quality standards. Partner with Quality on escapes, NCRs, and corrective actions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and travelers. Support internal and external audits. Safety & Workplace Environment Enforce a zero‑incident safety culture with strict adherence to PPE and safety standards. Conduct regular safety observations and maintain a safe work environment. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve TAT, reduce backlog, and eliminate waste. Lead or participate in Lean/CI initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work). Use root‑cause problem‑solving to address repeat issues or constraints. Track and take action on KPIs such as backlog, past‑due, TAT, WIP aging, rework, and escapes. Customer & Internal Communication Provide timely updates on AOG units, critical orders, and bottlenecks. Ensure accurate ERP/MRP data and visibility for stakeholders. Support customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. Qualifications The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance. Completed Post secondary education. Minimum 3 years of experience in a repair & overhaul, manufacturing, or maintenance environment. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a team leadership role. Must be flexible to flex hours to support business needs. Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP. WE VALUE Lean/Six Sigma training or certification. Aerospace or regulated repair experience. Knowledge of root‑cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone). Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment. Strong understanding of repair & overhaul (R&O) processes, documentation, and quality systems. Excellent leadership, decision‑making, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Compensation & Additional Information The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 in Mississauga, Ontario. This salary information serves as a general guideline.
