Overview Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada provides day‑to‑day services to Société Générale’s investment and corporate bank units and their clients, accelerating transformation through agile delivery, technology and data culture, and an industrial approach across multiple business units. Technical Stack Java | Angular | React | IBM/RabbitMQ | Spring Boot | GitHub | Jenkins | SQL | SQL Server | PostgreSQL | Docker | Kubernetes | REST API Responsibilities Study, analyze and estimate user stories in the equity derivatives business domain. Drive toward tech/non‑tech solutions, assess tactical or strategic approaches, and evaluate timeframe of solutions. Coordinate with business analysts and end users to understand development needs and acquire sign‑offs. Develop code artifacts, deployment plans, and technical upgrades in compliance with development standards. Ensure coding best practices are used by peers during pull‑request review and assist onboarding of junior members. Collaborate with senior developers on architecture discussions and decisions. Coordinate with users to produce comprehensive test plans and develop user sign‑off criteria; conduct analysis and documentation of testing results with end‑users. Participate in large software implementations covering quarterly upgrades and new functionality deployments. Required Qualifications Proficiency in English, both oral and written, to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
