Director (Manager), Financial Restructuring (Calgary or Edmonton) Our global network of Financial Restructuring professionals helps clients develop financial and operational strategies to improve liquidity, credit availability and shareholder return. Our team is fully integrated within our wider Strategy and Execution practice and the firm as a whole, providing a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience. We work on the basis of creating long‑term relationships with our clients and closely collaborate with them to understand their short and long‑term goals. We are there at every stage to identify problems and recommend and implement solutions that deliver measurable results. Your key responsibilities As a Director (Manager), you will be part of the restructuring team helping our clients evaluate capital options, capture greater transaction value and achieve strategic objectives – whether they are buying or selling a distressed asset, restructuring a business, dealing with underperformance, or improving cash management. You will assist in the planning and execution of engagements including performing in‑depth analysis of a debtor’s financial situation and identifying strategies for dealing with various issues. To qualify for the role you must have Designated Canadian CPA with minimum 1+ years post‑qualification experience Strong interest to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional Qualification Programme Experience on large, complex restructuring engagements Experience developing and working with cash flow models Advanced business modelling skills Proven capabilities in problem solving, situational analysis, creativity, negotiation and decision making High level of technical competence in conducting financial analysis Ability to prepare high‑quality written communication Comprehensive understanding of financial statement analysis Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel as required Ideally, you’ll also have Effective time management, especially under tight deadline pressures.
