Job Description The Project Manager, Store Graphics is responsible for project level management of Retail store graphic projects including the execution of graphics for new store openings, full and partial renovations, store relocations, and other store projects as assigned. This role will create and manage project plans and coordinate with multiple cross‑functional partners to achieve project milestones. Acting as the liason between creative teams and project stakeholders. The Creative Project Manager brings clarity, process and problem‑solving expertise to guide projects from concept through delivery. Key Performance Metrics Successful project delivery, on time, on scope, on budget Project team satisfaction and engagement Functional Accountabilities Review project briefs with Store Design ensuring briefs are clear and complete, clarifying objectives, timelines, budgets and success criteria Define scope, deliverables, dependencies and risks Build and maintain detailed project schedule and flag any resource issues Facilitate design reviews and approvals Manage the work from concept through to installation as well as any change orders Track revisions, approvals and version control Create project budget and monitor throughout the project to ensure the project is delivered on budget Work with trusted vendors to reduce costs where possible Open project docket and estimate resource requirements Manage communication ensuring full transparency with all project stakeholders including studio leadership, business owners, vendors and project teams Actively manage project schedules throughout the life of the project Identify and manage issues and risks jeopardizing project success through regular updates to studio leadership and project team Establish best practices and learnings through project closeout survey/meetings to ensure experiences gained through project be applied in future initiatives; implement any process re‑designs/refinements Manage the delivery of any requested change orders Document all graphics and ensure design decks are filed appropriately during project close out. Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision‑making processes Embrace and seek out technology that creates high‑tech and high‑touch solutions for Indigo’s customers Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them People Accountabilities Bring out the best in others, empower and constructively stretch talent Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself Help others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get input Encourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback Cultural Accountabilities Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do Celebrate diversity of thought and have an open mindset Take an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakes Embrace, champion and influence change through your team and/or the organization SCOPE Reports to: Senior Director, Creative Services Manager once Removed (MOR): Vice President, Creative Studio Key Relationships Internal Relationships Finance Store Design Construction Retail Experience and Operations Merchants (GM & Trade) Marketing, Events, PR Store Development Legal Qualifications Work Experience / Education / Certifications Post secondary degree completed in Creative Project Management or a related field, or a combination of education & work experience deemed equivalent Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP) is an asset Minimum 5 years of demonstrated progressive project management experience, ideally within the retail industry Strong project management skills from concept to implementation including ability to manage several projects simultaneously on strict timelines Strong analytical, customer service and relationship building skills with attention to detail and ability to problem solve Highly effective relationship and stakeholder management capabilities Ability to communicate effectively and lead others through change and new strategic initiatives Demonstrated ability to work in a team‑based environment with multiple stakeholders at different levels Advanced computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Project), Smartsheets, Dropbox, and ability to read CAD Other (travel, Bilingual, etc.) Position based in Toronto, Canada – some travel within Canada may be required At Indigo, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility are core to our values.
