Job Description AECOM’s Acoustics group in Mississauga, ON is hiring an engineering/technologist graduate with an interest in acoustics and vibration. This is a new position. You will support a close-knit team of engineers and specialists managing a fleet of measurement and monitoring equipment. Your responsibilities include performing field measurements, analysis, and recommendations in industrial environmental compliance, transportation planning, construction, architectural acoustics, and mechanical noise and vibration control. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within AECOM and with external clients and agencies. Responsibilities Perform site work including noise and vibration measurements, logger setup, and site reviews. Conduct acoustics, noise, and vibration calculations and software modeling. Assess acoustics, noise, and vibration impacts and develop design solutions. Review architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings and design documents. Prepare technical documents. Collaborate with internal teams and external clients. Ensure accuracy and quality of technical information and project documentation. Follow AECOM’s Safety, Health & Environment and Quality Management System policies. Must Have Skills/Experience Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering Technology, or related subject with at least one course in Vibration. Ontario Driver’s license. Excellent technical writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel). Client/service focus. Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability. Preferred Skills/Experience Eligibility for licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with OACETT. Work experience in a consulting engineering firm. CAD skills/experience (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). Programming skills/experience (e.g., MATLAB). GIS skills/experience (e.g., ArcGIS). Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position. Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. Compensation CAD 65,000 – CAD 85,000 yearly, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
