Important Note Depending upon experience, this position can be either a Medical Science Liaison or Senior Medical Science Liaison. Location Quebec Remote General Description As a leader in the organization, the MSL will contribute to the development of regional strategies to support enduring and compliant relationships with opinion leaders, research collaborators and key organizations in support of approved and pipeline BeOne products across all therapeutic areas. The incumbent will work closely with internal colleagues across the organization and will support pre‑launch and post‑launch Medical Affairs for hematology (and some oncology) pipeline development, focusing on malignant hematology. The MSL will coordinate external collaborations and research endeavors with health‑care providers and external academicians, playing a key role in establishing BeOne as a valued collaborator and best‑in‑class biopharmaceutical company. Essential Functions Establish and maintain credible peer‑to‑peer scientific relationships with national and regional opinion leaders and other healthcare providers. Provide education to the medical community on BeOne products and disease areas of focus. Facilitate and monitor strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts and serve as an enterprise‑level point of contact with academic institutions, research consortia, and practice networks. Facilitate responses to unsolicited requests for medical information, often in direct collaboration with BeOne Medical Information Services personnel. Serve as an internal resource of clinical and scientific information from medical interactions. Provide impactful feedback and information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends from external interactions to help shape company research and ensure the safe and appropriate use of BeOne products. Contribute to or perform therapeutic area/indication research and competitor analysis. Assist in the development and execution of clinically relevant regional medical meetings (e.g., advisory boards, consultancy and investigator meetings), as requested. Identify and verify investigators and sites for company‑sponsored clinical trials. Serve as the primary territory liaison for the submission and review of Investigator Initiated Trial proposals, facilitating the process from concept submission through publication. Work cross‑functionally to provide balanced and accurate information to public and private payors. Build strong relationships with internal experts and collaborate with the North America and Global Medical Affairs teams. Identify continuous process improvement opportunities. Develop, track, execute and report on goals and objectives. Support Medical Affairs budget planning and management. Be accountable for compliant business practices. Minimum Requirements – Education And Experience Medical Science Liaison Requirements: BS with 10 plus years of overall experience, or an MS with 7 years of overall experience, or a PhD/PharmD/MD with 5+ years of overall experience and success within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies. Minimum 5 years of experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred; candidates with exceptional experience in other related therapeutic areas (e.g. immunology) may be considered if they demonstrate clear potential to apply their existing skills to oncology. Medical Science Liaison Requirements BS with 12 plus years of overall experience, or an MS with 8 years of overall experience, or a PhD/PharmD/MD with 6+ years of overall experience and success within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies. Minimum 5 years of experience in hematology/oncology strongly preferred; candidates with exceptional experience in other related therapeutic areas (e.g. immunology) may be considered if they demonstrate clear potential to apply their existing skills to oncology. Other Experience Clinical research experience is preferred. Knowledge of applicable treatment, compliance, and regulatory guidelines. High level of communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Bilingualism (English/French) required. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Travel: Work related travel approximately 60‑70% Computer Skills: PC literacy required; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Veeva).
