With, and through their team of Supervisors and Clerks they are responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of inbound and outbound warehouse workers engaged in receiving, put-away, replenishment, selecting, loading, stacking, etc. of food service and food related products.Role ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage and control all aspects of the warehouse operationsHealth and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.Ensure compliance with OHS procedures and practices.Supervision of all staff under your direct or indirect control.Administration duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achieved.Ensure all resources are utilized efficiently.Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KP l's, with a primary focus on cost controls.Liaison person to the Director of Operations, implement and manage operational plansBe proactive in the recruitment and training process, establish work schedules, supervise staff, evaluate and monitor performance of staff to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives are metOversees the quality and accuracy of inbound receiptEnsures that receiving activities are monitored by warehouse management staff.Oversees the quality and accuracy of order selectionEnsures that loading activities are monitored by warehouse management staff.
