Job Summary Job Title: Family Practice Maternity Provider Work Site: Richmond Hospital Status: Permanent – Part Time Start Date: To be mutually agreed upon Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service or LFP (Longitudinal family physician model) + MOCAP on call stipend Level One Come work as a Family Practice Maternity Provider with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The Noakes Maternity Group is recruiting 1-2 more family physicians to provide low-risk obstetrical care. Opportunities include half-day prenatal clinics and/or 12-24 hour call shifts for labour and delivery. We work in collaboration with a collegial hospital team including obstetricians, pediatricians, midwives and nursing colleagues. Richmond is a regular training site for third year medical students and we often have residents on rotation. Richmond is the busiest non-tertiary hospital for maternity in BC. Last year there were 1463 total births at the Richmond Hospital Birth Centre.
