This is not a purely administrative role; we are looking for someone who can lead projects, solve problems, work closely with production, and balance technical problem‑solving with strong project execution and organizational leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead engineering projects from concept through production and implementation.Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.Develop and manage timelines, priorities, milestones, and deliverables.Ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.Coordinate activities across departments, including production, purchasing, service, and leadership.Help develop engineering standards, processes, and documentation practices.Communicate project updates, risks, and priorities to management.Improve product manufacturability and production efficiency.Assist with troubleshooting technical and quality issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers regarding technical specifications and component selection.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.Certification in Project Management.7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.5+ years of experience in Engineering Project Management.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, assembly, and product development.Familiarity with project management software, preferably Zo-Ho.Experience managing engineering projects and timelines.Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.Experience with thermal dynamics (an asset).Experience with sheet metal fabrication (required).P.Eng designation considered an asset.ERP and BOM management experience.SolidWorks software proficiency.Experience with root cause analysis, manufacturing process, and technical documentation.Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a half‑hour unpaid lunch.Compensation and Benefits $90,000–$95,000 per year.
