Group Controller – Langley, British Columbia $130‑140K base, plus bonus, RRSP matchingThis role will support a private, multi‑entity manufacturing organization. The Group Controller is a senior finance leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, planning, and systems management. Reporting to executive leadership, this position plays a key role in strategic decision‑making, operational performance, and organizational growth initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide financial leadership and strategic support to senior management and stakeholdersLead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activitiesDevelop and maintain KPI reporting related to sales, margins, productivity, and operational performanceTranslate financial information into actionable business insights to support decision‑makingSupport strategic initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and operational efficienciesFinancial Reporting, Compliance & ControlsOversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and management reportingLead annual audit, tax planning, and regulatory compliance processesEstablish and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial proceduresIdentify financial risks and opportunities through analysis and reportingEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirementsSystems & Process ImprovementAct as the lead for ERP and financial systems oversight, optimization, and future implementationsDrive process improvements and reporting enhancements across the finance functionEvaluate and implement systems and tools to support operational growth and efficiencyTeam LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance teamEstablish department objectives, monitor performance, and support employee developmentFoster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organizationAdditional ResponsibilitiesOversee contractual and administrative financial matters including insurance, leases, and agreementsParticipate in ad‑hoc projects and cross‑functional initiatives as requiredLimited travel may be required between operating locationsQualifications & ExperienceCPA designation in good standing required7‑10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial operationsDemonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teamsStrong understanding of ASPE, financial reporting, internal controls, and operational financeExperience with ERP systems (SAP experience considered an asset)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis toolsSkills & CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate complex financial information to operational and executive audiencesHighly organized with exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capabilitiesProactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentStrong understanding of business operations, financial systems, and process improvement initiatives#J-18808-Ljbffr
