Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Director, Creative Solutions, the Group Account Director serves as the primary lead for Sentrex’s creative agency, acting as a strategic partner for our clients, and leading a high‑performing team of Account Managers. You will lead strategic direction, from facilitation of brand planning to oversight of tactical deliverables across multiple client accounts, ensuring alignment to objectives, operational excellence and client satisfaction. In addition, you will play a key role in business development by identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, supporting new proposals and pitches, and helping shape innovative solutions that enhance Sentrex’s agency offerings - positioning Creative Solutions as a key differentiator to the overarching Sentrex business. A Day in the Life (What you will do) Strategic Client Leadership Serve as the senior point of contact for agency clients, providing strategic guidance across agency deliverables. Act as a strategic partner by understanding our clients’ business and challenges, and providing solutions. Guide and review the development of comprehensive creative and communication plans aligned to audience insights, market trends and business objectives. Facilitate brand planning sessions aligned to client marketing plans and objectives. Operate as the subject matter expert for PAAB and ASC approvals, providing proactive and reactive guidance. Program and Creative Oversight Oversee the full creative process from start to finish including project proposals containing all milestones and associated timelines, financials, copy, layout direction/accuracy, regulatory approvals (MLR, PAAB) and final client sign‑off. Serve as the final checkpoint to ensure all creative deliverables meet strategic goals and quality standards before client presentation. Maintain visibility into project health across the account portfolio using departmental tracking tools. Ensure smooth and strategic execution of advisory boards, insights gathering sessions, physician/patient engagement initiatives, and consulting activities, and inform recommendations based on insights gathered. Input on PSP Business Reviews from a creative/communications perspective and drive cross‑functional internal collaboration to ensure seamless program execution and strong client satisfaction. Leadership, Team Management Lead, mentor and develop the Account Management team, ensuring clarity of expectations, quality of output and consistent professional growth. Ensure that team members follow departmental SOPs, apply best practices and uphold standards of accuracy, organization and proactive communication. Support the Account Management team in managing day‑to‑day program operations while maintaining oversight and guidance on key decisions. Foster strong collaboration across internal teams – including Creative, PSP, Operations and external partners. Oversee resource allocation and workflow to optimise team performance. Provide clear direction, ensuring alignment on client goals and agency priorities. Client Experience & Quality Management Ensure an exceptional client experience across all key accounts, reinforcing Sentrex’s commitment to Deliver WOW. Uphold quality assurance standards by reviewing deliverables, presentations and reporting prepared by the Account Management team. Manage client expectations, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term retention. Business Development & Growth Identify and pursue account growth opportunities and drive new business initiatives. Lead and support the development of proposals, pitches and RFP responses for creative deliverables, communication strategies and consulting engagements. Represent Sentrex Agency at industry events. Promote additional Sentrex services such as 3PL, PSP, pharmacy, consulting, software and website development, where relevant. Help shape innovative offerings and service models that strengthen Creative Solutions as a key differentiator in the market. Operational & Financial Oversight Oversee account financials, ensuring accurate forecasting, resource planning and profitability across the portfolio. Approve scopes of work, budgets and timelines prepared by the Account Management team. Ensure smooth, consistent project execution, resolving resource or process challenges as they arise. Other duties as assigned by your manager. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years as an Account Director in pharmaceutical/healthcare advertising. Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing and executing omnichannel campaigns involving PAAB and ASC. Comfortable and experienced in facilitating brand planning sessions for clients. Demonstrated success in developing a cohesive environment across multiple teams. Proven supervisory, delegation and mentorship skills. Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex information into clear direction and actionable plans. Advanced project and account oversight, ensuring multi‑account alignment, resource planning and operational excellence across all deliverables. Exceptional attention to detail while managing numerous high‑priority initiatives. Outstanding executive‑level communication skills across all formats, including presentations, client discussions and cross‑functional alignment. Strong creative and strategic intuition, with the ability to guide creative direction and elevate team recommendations. Strong storytelling in all communication formats and ability to make content easy to understand, compelling and visually impactful. Ability to lead with urgency and decisiveness, prioritizing at a portfolio level to meet evolving business needs. Strong influencing and relationship building capabilities, quickly establishing credibility with senior stakeholders and guiding teams toward shared goals. Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing a team. Additional desired skills and experience: Savvy with AI‑tools in agency setting. Experience with KOL management. Direct pharmaceutical industry experience, especially marketing roles. Bilingual.
