Material Flow & Layout DesignDesign and optimize factory layouts, including production lines, supermarkets, storage locations, and material routesDefine and maintain storage locations (bin locations, supermarket design, rack configuration) to ensure efficient material access and replenishmentSupport facility expansions, reconfigurations, and new product launches2. Line-Side Delivery & PresentationDefine line-side material presentation strategies, including “border of line” design and replenishment zonesImplement and optimize delivery methods such as kitting, sequencing, bulk supply, and point-of-use deliveryImprove operator ergonomics and ensure consistent material presentation standards3. PFEP (Plan for Every Part) ManagementDevelop and maintain PFEP (Plan for Every Part) database including:Part dimensions and packagingDelivery frequency and replenishment methodsStorage and line-side requirementsEnsure PFEP accuracy supports lean flow, inventory optimization, and standardized processes4. AMR / Automation SupportSupport implementation and continuous improvement of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and automated material transport systemsDefine routes, pick/drop locations, traffic rules, and integration points with productionTroubleshoot and optimize AMR performance, utilization, and system efficiency5. SMARTPICK & Picking Strategy OptimizationSupport and optimize SMARTPICK systems or equivalent digital picking technologiesImprove picking accuracy, speed, and ergonomics within supermarkets or warehousesStandardize picking processes aligned with PFEP and line demand6. Process Improvement & Lean ImplementationApply lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, and pull systemsIdentify and eliminate waste across material flow, handling, and storage processesLead continuous improvement initiatives targeting throughput, cost reduction, and efficiency7. Material Handling Equipment & System IntegrationSpecify and implement material handling solutions including conveyors, forklifts, carts, AGVs, and AMRsEnsure seamless integration between material flow systems and production operationsEvaluate automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability8. Inventory & Production AlignmentAlign material flow processes with production schedules and ERP systemsMaintain optimal inventory levels while supporting Just-in-Time (JIT) deliveryPrevent shortages and overstock through effective replenishment strategies9. Funnel Cloud Reporting & Data AnalyticsDevelop and maintain funnel cloud reporting to monitor material flow performance and identify bottlenecksAnalyze key metrics such as inventory turns, delivery compliance, shortages, and downtimeCreate dashboards and visualizations (Power BI or equivalent) to drive data-based decisions10.
