Drivmatic & GSE Specialist We are currently recruiting a Drivmatic & GSE Specialist to join our Operations team. This role supports multiple sites near the Calgary Airport. Position Summary Reporting to the Industrialization Supervisor, the Drivmatic & GSE Specialist is a focal point for supporting production Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tooling and other equipment as required. This position will be the prime on maintaining the DHC 515 Wing Drivematic machine. The role is responsible for maintaining GSE equipment and associated GSE tooling as needed, coordinating preventative maintenance (PM) for all associated GSE equipment for the sites, managing service and repair vendors. The role will support other production sites in Calgary as required. The candidate must have an aptitude for understanding GSE systems, troubleshooting and resolution. The GSE Specialist works closely with and builds positive relationships within production, manufacturing, materials, supply chain, finance, and logistics/transportation teams. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance (PM) program for all GSE and associated GSE tooling for production. Prime for maintenance and preventative maintenance on the wing Drivmatic on the assembly line. Support multiple sites operating in Calgary. Troubleshoot GSE issues/snags to support operations. Escalate and coordinate vendor site repairs for all equipment. Complete periodic inspections (daily, weekly, monthly etc.) on GSE as per equipment manuals, standards, and procedures. Support purchase and service orders in ERP to ensure approval, payment, invoicing, and all financials are accurate. Monthly reporting on budget metrics. Collaborate with warehouse and facilities on GSE space requirements as needed. Work with various functions to solve business problems through process mapping and alignment sessions that enable business objectives. Build positive relationships with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. Education and Professional Qualifications Minimum 5 years relevant experience with production/manufacturing/airline/AMO/GSE. Mechanical certification considered an asset. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills; meticulous attention to detail. Lean Six Sigma training, continuous improvement experience preferred. Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint considered an asset. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic, demanding and deadline‑driven environment. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be considered an asset. Experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment preferred. Skills & Experience Results oriented and a team player comfortable working with all aspects of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English). Outstanding organizational and multi‑tasking skills. Good with Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable dealing with all levels of an organization. Ability to work in a highly technical environment.
