Position Overview The Project Manager plays a critical role in delivering Kendrix Technologies’ low voltage and security system projects from planning through completion. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, this position is responsible for overall project execution, financial performance, field coordination, and client satisfaction across commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi‑residential environments. As the primary owner of assigned projects, the Project Manager leads cross‑functional teams, coordinates subcontractors, and maintains clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders. This role requires a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented professional who thrives in active construction environments, takes ownership of outcomes, and aligns daily work with Kendrix’s core values. Project Delivery & Execution Client & Stakeholder Management Team Leadership & Field Coordination Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution Follow Kendrix Technologies’ standards, rules, and policies. Manage low voltage systems projects end‑to‑end, including security (access control, video surveillance, intercom, intrusion, RTLS), A/V, public address, and structured cabling. Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, and to client expectations. Build and manage project schedules, resource plans, procurement, commissioning, and risk plans. Coordinate subcontractors and manage their performance throughout the project. Conduct site visits, run WIP meetings, and keep all project communications current. Produce accurate project financial reports including cost tracking, revenue forecasting, billing, and accruals. Manage project invoicing, purchase orders, change orders, and working capital. Flag cost overrun risks early and implement corrective actions. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project; maintain high satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly. Hold regular project status meetings with clients and stakeholders. Coordinate internally with Sales, Design, and Finance to meet project requirements. Team Leadership & Field Coordination Lead, coach, and support field technicians and coordination staff on assigned projects. Assign and direct work; conduct performance check‑ins and address personnel issues per company policy. Identify training needs and support development of project and field personnel. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Project Manager in low voltage or electrical construction; large project experience ($5M+) preferred. Solid understanding of low voltage systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion, intercom, and structured cabling. Comfortable managing project financials, schedules, and subcontractors simultaneously. Strong communicator — written and verbal — with clients, trades, and internal teams. Self‑directed with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. PMP or PMI certification is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Fieldwire or similar is a plus. Valid BC driver’s licence; able to travel within the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas. Must be able to work on active construction sites and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
