What You'll Bring to the Table Proven experience in service design research and delivering tangible outputs. Strong background working within or for the public sector, especially in government or similar large-scale environments. Expertise collaborating in Agile teams, contributing to all phases from discovery through to delivery. Nice to Have Skills include Experience planning and analyzing qualitative field research and reporting insights. Facilitation of co-design workshops with service users to co-create solutions. Skills conducting usability testing on prototypes and production systems. Track record delivering digital services, including concept testing and prototyping, within a cross-functional team. Knowledge of organizational change management, policy shifts, and service transformation initiatives, particularly within digital government projects. Familiarity with digital transformation efforts within the Canadian Public Sector. A polished PDF portfolio showcasing your previous work in service design, user research, and project deliverables. Preferred Education & Experience A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred. Several years of experience working in service design, preferably in government or large organizational settings, with proven success managing complex projects. Other Requirements Ability to work primarily remotely, with occasional meetings or work sessions in Edmonton, Alberta. Willingness to engage in field research across Alberta as needed. A valid portfolio attachment demonstrating your expertise. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving project scopes and deliverables.
