Position Description The Program Manager acts as the central hub connecting customers with internal engineering, production, and supply chain teams. This role acts as the primary internal owner of assigned programs, ensuring contractual, technical, quality, schedule, and commercial requirements are met. They are responsible for the entire life cycle—from Request for Quote (RFQ) to final delivery—ensuring that complex, high-precision parts are produced on time, within budget, and to strict quality standards. Salary $85,000 Reports to Senior Management Location London Ontario Position Type Full-time, permanent Shift 40 hours/week, flexible schedule, onsite, some travel required Benefits Health & Dental after 3 months, Prescription Safety Glasses Program, Safety Boot Program Job Duties Customer Relationship Management & Technical Liaison Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for external customers regarding order status, technical changes, and quality issues. Contract Administration: Manage quotes, customer purchase orders (POs), contracts, and Statements of Work (SOW). Customer Satisfaction: Proactively manage customer expectations, resolve disputes, and conduct program reviews. Program Execution & Lifecycle Management Plan and manage program milestones, deliverables, and schedules in alignment with customer and production requirements. Ensure program requirements are clearly flowed down to Engineering, Production, Quality, and Materials. Maintain program plans, risk registers, and action logs. Assist in the assembly of initial Bills of Materials and complete customer data packages (TDPs). Participate in customer meetings, audits, or escalations when technical or execution expertise is required. Manage sales order loading, modifying, and tracking in ERP. Coordinate cross-functional activities to support on-time delivery. Drive resolution of internal issues affecting cost, quality, or schedule. Schedule, Risk & Performance Management Develop and maintain internal program schedules aligned with customer POs and delivery commitments. Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks related to materials, capacity, or technical challenges; elevate when required. Organize and monitor internal performance metrics such as on-time delivery. Support continuous improvement initiatives tied to program execution. Change Management Manage engineering changes, production changes, and internal process changes impacting the program. Negotiate new pricing and schedule with customer as required. Ensure changes are implemented in a controlled manner consistent with AS9100 requirements. Quality, Compliance & Regulatory Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned applicable requirements. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits related to assigned programs. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent Must be able to obtain and maintain the Controlled Goods Clearance in accordance with DAVWIRE’s Security Plan. Skills & Experience 5-10 years of program or project management experience, preferably in an aerospace, defence, or regulated, complex manufacturing environment. Experience working with wire harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, or complex manufactured products preferred. Strong organizational Strong understanding of the manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, and supply chain dynamics for electromechanical aerospace and defense vehicle components (power distribution, control panels). Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a deadline-driven Strong understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Able to juggle multiple deliverables while maintaining and fostering strong Comprehension of general sales and procurement terms and Strong understanding of customer-specific purchase terms and Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Project; ERP/MRP systems, and general business tools Advanced communication skills and situational Skilled at conflict resolution Interested?
