Senior EOL / Currency Manager – Job Summary The Senior EOL/Currency Manager provides strategic leadership for enterprise IT end-of-life (EOL) and technology currency governance. This role drives proactive risk reduction, enables data‑driven decision making, and influences behavioral and operational change across technology and business partners. The position partners closely with IT, security, architecture, and business leaders to modernize processes, analytics, and capabilities in alignment with emerging technologies and organizational priorities.Key Responsibilities Strategy & GovernanceLead and evolve the enterprise IT EOL/Currency governance strategy to reduce risk, increase resiliency, and support modernization goalsBreak down complex, strategic problems into actionable insights, recommendations, and solutionsIdentify and drive strategic opportunities to strengthen EOL, currency, and remediation processes across the organizationContinuously assess emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory expectations and adapt responsibilities, controls, and processes accordinglyBusiness Requirements & AnalyticsDefine and document business requirements for analytics, reporting, and data model changes related to EOL and technology currencyPartner with technology and data teams to enhance reporting, dashboards, and insights that enable informed decision-makingEnsure data integrity and alignment across systems supporting EOL and currency trackingCommunication & Change LeadershipLead the development of a comprehensive communication strategy that drives awareness, accountability, and behavior changeInfluence senior stakeholders and delivery teams through clear, compelling, and targeted messagingFacilitate forums, working sessions, and governance bodies to align priorities and resolve competing demandsCollaboration & LeadershipAct as a trusted advisor to IT leadership, architecture, security, and delivery teamsBuild strong cross‑functional partnerships to align remediation planning with business roadmaps and capacityProvide thought leadership and mentorship within the EOL/Currency and broader technology management communityKey Skills & Expertise Technical & Domain KnowledgeStrong understanding of IT infrastructure and application technologies, including emerging cloud and AI platformsWorking knowledge of ServiceNow, including CMDB concepts, data relationships, and dependency managementDeep knowledge of IT EOL and technology currency remediation planning, lifecycle management, and risk mitigationLeadership & CommunicationExceptional facilitation skills with the ability to drive alignment among diverse stakeholder groupsStrong executive‑level communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to influence without direct authority and lead through changeStrategic & AnalyticalStrategic mindset with the ability to connect operational execution to long‑term business outcomesStrong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insightsSalary $94,600.00 - $176,000.00Pay Type SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
