Minimum Requirements Total time: 4,500 hours Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 500 hours Jet time: 500 hours Type rating: Not required — training provided Flight time notes: 1,000 hours total time on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations; or 500 hours PIC on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations. Pilots who do not meet the minimums may be considered based on overall experience and other factors.
